At this point we thought that it was better to ditch it right away and looked for an alternative. When the converter software was launched, there was yet another attempt. In the middle of the installation, another attempt was made. Many users wouldn’t realize this until it is too late, unless the firewall is set up to notify users when a new program makes such an attempt and block the connection automatically until a permission is given. Its partnership with Bright Data is one of the obvious signs that it is no longer a recommended software, but each to their own.
It used to be a popular freeware, until it becomes one that many should stay away from. Format Factory also has an automatic update notification. There are also a lot of languages, so you shouldn’t have trouble using Format Factory in your preferred language. There are also a few different themes to choose from, which is a nice addition. Also, whenever you navigate through the right side column, there will be ripples in the banner – slightly annoying, but there’s not really a way to disable it and it’s not a hindrance to the program’s performance so I just learned to ignore it. It’s the downside of using free software. The two images on either side are links, which lead to ads and have no affiliation with the program except to keep it free.
